I am a willing person who wants to change things in my local community. I live in the Barkerend area where there are many issues. The main issues which concern me are that young people don’t have much to do.
There are youth and community centres in our area but young people don’t use them much. I would like to change this by organising events that young people will be interested in so they have something to do in their spare time and don’t end up bored.
What would you prefer? Be bored or have something fun to do?
If people start going to youth centres they also get to meet new people and make new friends, as well as building relationships with workers who they can trust. This unites our community.
