“A vote for me is a vote for change”

Hi my name is Cory Whelan, I go to Titus Salt School in Shipley and have lived there all my life now. In my spare time I enjoy socialising and playing on video games.

The reason I am standing for the BKYP elections is because I want to improve the local parks in my area. At the moment the parks are not attractive, they are dull and full of vandalism. I would like to improve them by cleaning up the parks and holding monthly events and activities to make parks places people want to go.

I would send out questionnaires to see what young people in my area want to change about the parks and what they want to see in them.

I would also like to get in touch with local graffiti artists to design artwork using your ideas that could be used in parks - getting you involved in the project in a safe, legal way.
